Galada Galore

“Galada Galore” is inspired by one of my favourite places 'Galada Reserve' in Parkville Gardens, where I often go for walks. It’s a quiet spot with tall gum trees, winding paths, and a stream that fills after the rain.

Painted in acrylics, it reflects the soft & varying green tones of the grass and leaves, and the calm greys of the gum trunks. The path leads you through the scene just like the walks that have become a gentle part of my day. There’s a stillness in the landscape, and I’ve tried to bring that into the work through an impressionistic style.

This painting is close to my heart - A reflection of home, nature, and beauty found in familiar places.
