Galada Galore

“Galada Galore” is inspired by one of my favourite places—Galada Reserve in Parkville Gardens, where I often go for walks. It’s a quiet spot with tall gum trees, winding paths, and a stream that fills after the rain.

Painted in acrylics, it reflects the soft & varying green tones of the grass and leaves, and the calm greys of the gum trunks. The path leads you through the scene—just like the walks that have become a gentle part of my day. There’s a stillness in the landscape, and I’ve tried to bring that into the work through an impressionistic style.

This painting is close to my heart—a reflection of home, nature, and the quiet beauty found in familiar places.
